Nothing screams summer like an article of seersucker clothing!  The puckering texture of the fabric keeps it loose on your skin so that air is constantly circulating, a certain must in the heat of summer.  The other bonus of this unique weave of cotton?  No ironing needed!  Lets be honest, who wants to iron in 90 degree weather?

Seersucker can go from office, to evening, to errands with ease.  For a super classic look I could have kept it clean with a crisp white tank or tee but decided to pair it, this day, with a floral top having the same tone of blue as the stripe.  Don’t be afraid to try mixing a floral print with stripes; what helps to pull the combo together is a common hue.

This shoot was taken near the beautiful reflecting pond in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art; a must see if you’ve never been.  There are trees around the pond to provide shade, benches to lounge on and just the beauty of the surroundings to take in.

Here’s hoping things cool off a bit and I can find a shaded patio to enjoy this weekend.

Cheers to summer style!
