Made in the 216 Recap

One thing I love to do is support local businesses and artists; Made in the 216 gave me an opportunity to do just that!  The weather last weekend in Cleveland was perfect for this event, and it showed in the sheer number of customers that came out in support of the 216; that’s the Cleveland area code, just in-case you were wondering.

Not far down the street from her everyday storefront my good friend Jennie, owner of Room Service and one of my talented blog photographers, worked tirelessly to make her vision come to life in this pop-up space.  Following are several images which, to me, really convey the amazing selection of goods, the atmosphere and creativity that filled this temporary pop-up store for just three days!  From freshly inked posters, to jams, sculptures ( I am obsessed with the cement cast vintage cameras), jewelry, apparel and stationary there was definitely something to be found for every taste and every budget.

In the event you weren’t able to attend Made in the 216, be sure to head down to W. 25th and check out Room Service which supports and features many of the items pictured below.  While you’re at it, also check out the other fantastic shops and eateries that adorn the street.

p.s. There are a TON of patios along W. 25th; summer is slipping away so get down there and enjoy!  Cheers!
