Orange, Ivy and Fall
//Photos by: Johnine Byrne//
Where did the summer go? I swear the older I get the faster time seems to fly. Not complaining, really, just forces me to be present in each moment and appreciate every drop of sunshine, every interaction with neighbors and valued time with friends; on as many patios as possible!
If you’ve been following me along for a bit you’d know that one of my favorite little streets in Cleveland, and close to my home, is Larchmere; previous posts include here and here. I love the eclectic nature of the stores and the array of eateries to enjoy, one of my standbys is the Larchmere Tavern where you’ll always find a friendly face and tasty bites; come often enough and you’ll start to recognize the regulars and perhaps become one yourself.
The season has finally arrived for overcoats, close toed shoes and muted tones; but I’ve never been one to immediately flip the switch to fall attire. I’m fully embracing the black & white movement in fashion right now, it’s so simple and timeless; of course I have to throw in a pinch of color and chose to use orange, one of my favs, to help me embrace the lingering colors of summer.
Here’s to a smooth and gentle ease into the next season.
Cheers to Fall!
