It’s a wrap
Let me start off by saying the weather here in Cleveland has not been ‘camera friendly’ lately; with the sun setting at 5 and rain, snow and rain again it’s been more than frustrating trying trying to plan any sort of outside activity. Luckily for me, offering a much needed break, this past weekend gave me a quick opportunity to get outside and enjoy some of the fleeting temperate weather.
During seasonal transitions I find layers are the only way to go. I can quickly shed a wrap and tuck it inside my handbag without incurring the bulk and weight of a coat. In addition to wraps being functional I get to add a pop of color to any outfit and then, as if warmth wasn’t enough, I can style the scarf to accommodate a light breeze or a forceful wind with a simple throw over the shoulder or wrap around the neck.
I’m especially in love with these two wraps from Nordstrom & Talbots; and if you’re looking for inspiration on how to tie a wrap/scarf then head over here for a great tutorial from PureWow.
With that…it’s a wrap! Cheers – Penny
