Black & White

Black and white is so simple and timeless I don’t believe it’s ever not been en vogue; but this season it’s hot, in a big way. When going monochrome, like I did here in a base of black, success comes from mixing textures which help to separate your movements and expressions as you move through your day. When I saw this Olive&Oak tank I had to have it; with the synthetic leather front, easy neckline and sheer back are nothing short of pure perfection. This outfit can easily move from business to evening with just the addition, or removal, of my blazer.
This shoot was taken at one of the many RTA stops in my neighborhood, as was this previous post. If you’ve never ridden the “rapid”, what we all call the rail line, you should if just for the experience; I mean it brings back a little nostalgia just seeing a payphone waiting for you. For me, and truly anyone that has quick access to a line, riding is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to shoot downtown for any professional sporting event, concert or other recreational activity.
This weekend’s weather is looking to be amazing here in Cleveland and I’m planning to take full advantage of being outside and, as shocking as this may sound, finding a patio to relax on!
Thank you for stopping by and cheers to the weekend! Penny
